When you have a music director duo trying to resurrect their career with a film ironically titled Do Knot Disturb, you'd like them to mind their own business too, and not disturb the rest of us. But that is not something Nadeem-Shravan will pay any heed to and so we have to endure the rap for their resurface twaddle that is the music output of this film soundtrack. Joining them in this crime is Sameer..
For starters, the title track has lyrics like 'Itna hyper hai kyun suraj, usko tension hai jaane kya'. It's supposed to be a situational track, with bawdy lyrics, but just stringing random words to cook up a song has always been Sameer's forte, and with Nadeem-Shravan's lackadaisical effort, they make a big mess out of it.
The dhol beats on 'Mere Naal' are so loud, your eardrums could burst. The 'mere naal chal soniye' refrain is catchy in a very typical Punjabi way. It's like any other wedding Punjabi song you have heard in a Sanjay Dutt / Salman Khan / Govinda movie. Rap input in the song grates on the nerves and the 'tiao tiao' nonsense word which is possibly Govinda's portion in this situational song is supposed to garner some laughs. I found it rather sad.

'Zulfaen Khol Khaal Ke', by the name of it, sounds like an explosive number of the David Dhawan variety. Another thing to be noticed is that the songs for this film seem to be of the Sajid-Wajid territory. When did Nadeem-Shravan ever go full blast? They were always into melody, like Dhadkan and Kasoor in recent years.
'Beautiful Women' is definitely not a song you should sing when you are wooing a beautiful woman. Neeraj's voice is the only saving grace of the song. The silver lining is that the song is short and one of the worst albums of recent times is finally over! Six songs were never this longer or as meddlesome with your musical ear. Nadeem-Shravan should return to hibernation, and not ruin the reputation they have built on their nineties successful run.
