Amir Khan ready to cross the seven seas
After winning Bollywood, Amir Khan has his eyes set on Hollywood
Aamir Khan is all set to make his presence felt in the west. And why not? He has had Bollywood floored by his movies and talent. There are chances that he might be paired opposite recent Oscar winner Kate Winslet in a film to be directed by Pan Nalin. Pan has already narrated the script to Aamir
The story is an adaptation of legendary Pakistani playwright Saadat Hasan Manto's short story 'Toba Tek Singh'. It speaks about the comic situation inside an Indian mental asylum in 1947, when India and Pakistan were being created.
Although nothing has been confirmed as yet, but Aamir is already quite excited about the whole thing. As he gets turned on only by intelligent stuff and is very keen to do the movie.
Pan has kept his options open. If Kate chooses to opt out, he will rope in Rachel Weisz, the 'The Mummy' actress. According to him, either of them will be able to do justice to this marvelous story.
Watch this space for more. For if all goes well, you will get the chance to savor Aamir's east- west flavor.
