Aishwarya meets father before "Action Replay"
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rushed from Cannes back to resume shooting for Vipul Shah's Action Replay in Karjat ."
But Aishwarya on landing took a day off on Monday to spend with her parents before leaving for Karjat. Due to her father's illness, she doesn't like to be away from Mumbai for longer time periods.
Though it never shows in her work, being away from home is very difficult for her now. Ironically, almost all her films are being shot outside the city.
She would like her shoot to be as much as possible in Mumbai. When she was shooting in the jungles of Kerala for Mani Ratnam's film, she visited Mumbai to be with her ailing father.
Her fahter's health is now Aishwarya's primary concern. Though, her father's health scare has bonded her with others who are similarly traumatized by terminal illness in the industry. Like, she kept track of Feroz Khan's health through Fardeen and was deeply affected when he passed away.
Says a source, "Aishwarya kept track of Feroz Khan's health through Fardeen and when he passed away she was deeply affected. At the prayer meeting Fardeen and Aishwarya exchanged notes like two wounded war veterans."
Shooting in Karjat for prolonged periods is not new to Aishwarya. For 'Jodhaa Akbar', she was stationed in Karjat for so long that it became her second home. But now circumstances have changed. After her father's illness, Aishwarya likes to be as close to Mumbai as possible," said a source close to the actress. Even when she was shooting in the jungles of Kerala for Mani Ratnam, Aishwarya made sure she visited Mumbai to be with her father.Aishwarya has teamed up with Akshay Kumar in Vipul Shah's "Action Replay" and currently both are shooting for the film in Karjat.
Father's health is now Aishwarya's primary concern.
