J.K. Rowling's Rare
Fairytale Book To Go On Auction

A collector's edition
copy of 'The Tales of Beedle the Bard'
Just when
everyone thought that JK Rowling has put down her pen
she springs out another surprise in form of a rare
collector's edition book "The Tales of Beetle the
Bard". A rare hand-written copy of fairytales from
Harry Potter's magical world is set to go under hammer
next month. Titled The Tales
of Beedle the Bard, the book is a collection of five fairytales mentioned in the J.K. Rowling's last book in the boy
wizard saga, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."
Bound in brown
leather and decorated with a silver skull and
moonstones, the book is currently on display at
Sotheby's in London.
There are only
seven copies of the book, of which six have been given
away as gifts. The only edition left will be auctioned
on Dec 13 to help raise funds for Rowling's children's
charity. It is expected to fetch up to $120,000 but
the price can go even higher as it is a supremely rare
collector's item and any Potter's fan's prize keep.
