Amit Chaudhari
Amit Chaudhuri
(born 1962) is an internationally acclaimed Indian
English author.
He has written
numerous novels, short stories, poems and critical
essays in English, but is best known for his book Freedom Song. He
attended the University College London, Balliol College, Oxford and has also
been a writer-in-residence at the Wolfson College.
His latest book is a collection of poems entitled St. Cyril Road and Other
Poems. Amit Chaudhuri is also proficient in Indian classical music.
Currently,
Chaudhuri is tutor at the University of East Anglia
for the subject of creative writing.
