Haunted

HAUNTED is for today's movie savvy audience. It succeeds in keeping you tense and edgy, as a true poltergeist/horror flick should. There are scenes and situations aplenty to shock and astound the viewer coupled with the 3D effects, the prosthetics, the background score, an absorbing screenplay and deft handling of the subject material. It is these superior factors that outweigh the blemishes and make it an interesting cinematic experience. Go, get spooked!

Luv Ka The End

Shradda Kapoor steals the show. The young actress perfectly fit the teenage role. Her pleasant face and expressions are cool. Her friends, both of them are good and deliver good performance. Taaha Shah did justice to the role assigned to him and fits the bill. The child artist, the granny and rest of the cast were good.
Music of the film is good. And when it was played continuously in the background we may hum a tune or two while exiting from the theatre. Hinglish it is and the importance of lyrics took a back seat where it found love too sitting idle over there.

Chalo Dilli

There are moments when the film sparkles and they come in the form of witty one liners or punches. Pitching Lara and Vinay opposite each other and putting them in the most awkward situations manages to bring out some humor.
The film's biggest drawback is the fact that it falls into the dangerous trap of coming off as one-dimensional. Once we are introduced to Lara and Vinay, there's nothing different or new that we can expect. Most of the arguments, fights, banter and goof ups are super predictable.

Dum Maaro Dum

On the whole, Dum Maro Dum is like fast food that's high on calories, but falls short in the nutrition department. Yes, it's slick, stylish and well-crafted, but the fact remains that it lacks the power [in its second hour specifically] to create a dum-daar impression. Business-wise, Dum Maro Dum caters more to the youth in metros than the hardcore masses in general.
