Dr. Simmi Waraich

The oft heard, ‘It is all in the mind’ and credentials of Dr. Simmi Waraich M.D (Psychiatry) only cement the fact that there is a lot in the mind. She has worked as a Senior Resident in, drug de-addiction unit of Department of Psychiatry of a Post Graduate Medical Research Institute. Her work has been highly appreciated in India and abroad as far as Australia, where she collaborated in activities with the Acute Mental Health team and attended Rural Clinics.

She is a columnist with some national dailies. Her
writings provide awareness about psychiatric disorders
like Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. Dr. Waraich also runs a Domiciliary Care Group for Elders who have Dementia. Her expertise ranges in areas of child behavior, drug abuse in adolescents to stress management in corporate sector.
